In this paper, we extend previous work on the evolution of continuous-time recurrent neural networks for minimally cognitive behavior (the simplest behavior that raises issues of genuine cognitive interest). Previously, we evolved dynamical “nervous ystems” for orientation, reaching, and discrimination.
