Twenty species of the genus Schizocarpus Trouessart, 1896 (Acari: Chirodiscidae) are recorded from six live individualsof the Eurasian beaver Castor fiber belorussicus Lavrov (Rodentia: Castoridae) captured by modified fish-traps nearWizajny village (Suwalki, north-eastern Poland).
