Reservoir water qualities are regulated by sediment/water microbial functional communities harbored in the drinking water reservoir ecosystem. However, little is known about reservoir sediment-/water-associated bacterial, fungal, archaeal, sulfate reducing bacterial, and actinomycetes populations.
