We analyze the outage and throughput performance of full-duplex relay selection (FDRS) in underlay cognitive networks. Contrary to half-duplex relaying, full-duplex relaying (FDR) enables simultaneous listening/forwarding at the secondary relay(s), thereby allowing for higher spectral efficiency.
