We report on two searches performed at the D0 detector at the Fermi National Laboratory. The first is a search for Z di-boson production with a theoretical cross section of 1.4 pb. The search was performed on 2.6 fb{sup -1} of data and contributed to the first observation of ZZ production at a hadron collider. The second is a search for a low mass Standard Model Higgs in 4.2 fb{sup -1} of data. The Higgs boson is produced in association with a Z boson where the Higgs decays hadronically and the…

Search for associated production of z and Higgs bosons in proton-antiproton collisions at 1.96 TeV
We present a search for associated production of Z and Higgs bosons in 4.2 fb{sup -1} of {bar p}p collisions at {radical}s = 1.96 TeV, produced in RunII of the Tevatron and recorded by the D0

Distinguishing WH and Wbb production at the Fermilab Tevatron
The production of a Higgs boson in association with a {ital W} boson is the most likely process for the discovery of a light Higgs boson at the Fermilab Tevatron. Since it decays primarily to {ital
Search for Anomalous Production of Di-lepton Events with Missing Transverse Momentum in e^+e^- Collisions at sqrt{s} = 161 and 172 GeV
TLDR
The observed number of events, four at 161 GeV and nine at 172 GeV, is consistent with the number expected from Standard Model processes, predominantly arising from W+W− production with each W decaying leptonically.
Combined CDF and Dzero Upper Limits on Standard Model Higgs-Boson Production
We combine results from CDF and D0 searches for a standard model Higgs boson (H) in ppbar collisions at the Fermilab Tevatron at sqrt{s}=1.96 TeV. With 1.0-1.9 fb-1 of data collected at CDF, and
New generation of parton distributions with uncertainties from global QCD analysis
A new generation of parton distribution functions with increased precision and quantitative estimates of uncertainties is presented. This work signiflcantly extends previous CTEQ and other global
ALPGEN, a generator for hard multiparton processes in hadronic collisions
This paper presents a new event generator, ALPGEN, dedicated to the study of multiparton hard processes in hadronic collisions. The code performs, at the leading order in QCD and EW interactions, the
Determination of the effective inelastic p anti-p cross-section for the D0 Run II luminosity measurement
The authors determine the effective inelastic p{bar p} cross-section into the D0 Luminosity Monitor for all run periods prior to September 2004. This number is used to relate the measured inelastic
