The effects of magnetic fields of extremely low frequency (ELF, 21 microT r.m.s.) on cells of different Escherichia coli K12 strains and human lymphocytes were studied by the method of anomalous viscosity time dependence (AVTD). Within the frequency range of 6-24 Hz, two resonance-type frequency windows with maximal effects at 9 Hz and 16 Hz were observed in response of GE499 strain.
