In 56 patients, frequency analysis of the electrocardiogram of ventricular fibrillation exhibited power spectra with a distinct dominant frequency. The greatest success for resuscitation from ventricular fibrillation is recorded when ventricular fibrillation develops after the patient comes under coronary care.
