The problem of coordination and control of multiple spacecraft (MS) moving in formation is considered. Here, each MS is modeled by a rigid body with fixed center of mass. First, various schemes for generating the desired formation patters are discussed, Then, explicit control laws for formation-keeping and relative attitude alignment based on nearest neighbor-tracking are derived.
