We explore the Fock-space landscape of eigenstates across the many-body localisation (MBL) transition in a disordered, interacting quantum spin-1/2 chain. Eigenstate expectation values of spatially local observables, which distinguish an MBL phase from an ergodic one, can be represented in terms of eigenstate amplitudes on the Fock space. Motivated by this, we introduce and study spatial correlations on the Fock space. From these, a correlation length emerges, which is found to vary… Expand

Percolation in Fock space as a proxy for many-body localization
We study classical percolation models in Fock space as proxies for the quantum many-body localisation (MBL) transition. Percolation rules are defined for two models of disordered quantum spin-chainsExpand
Fock-space correlations and the origins of many-body localization
We consider the problem of many-body localisation on Fock space, focussing on the essential features of the Hamiltonian which stabilise a localised phase. Any many-body Hamiltonian has a canonicalExpand
Many-body localization in Fock-space: a local perspective
A canonical model for many-body localization (MBL) is studied, of interacting spinless fermions on a lattice with uncorrelated quenched site-disorder. The model maps onto a tight-binding model on aExpand
Critical Properties of the Many-Body Localization Transition
The transition from a many-body localized phase to a thermalizing one is a dynamical quantum phase transition which lies outside the framework of equilibrium statistical mechanics. We provide aExpand
Criterion for Many-Body Localization-Delocalization Phase Transition
We propose a new approach to probing ergodicity and its breakdown in one-dimensional quantum many-body systems based on their response to a local perturbation. We study the distribution of matrixExpand
Many-body localization due to correlated disorder in Fock space
In presence of strong enough disorder one dimensional systems of interacting spinless fermions at non-zero filling factor are known to be in a many body localized phase. When represented in FockExpand
Multifractal Scalings Across the Many-Body Localization Transition.
TLDR
Using exact diagonalization techniques, this Letter addresses the ergodicity properties in the underlying N-dimensional complex networks spanned by various computational bases for up to L=24 spin-1/2 particles, and reports fully ergodic eigenstates in the delocalized phase (irrespective of the computational basis). Dynamics of strongly interacting systems: From Fock-space fragmentation to many-body localization
We study the $t\text{\ensuremath{-}}V$ disordered spinless fermionic chain in the strong-coupling regime, $t/V\ensuremath{\rightarrow}0$. Strong interactions highly hinder the dynamics of the model,Expand
Anomalous diffusion and griffiths effects near the many-body localization transition.
TLDR
This work explores the high-temperature dynamics of the disordered, one-dimensional XXZ model near the many-body localization (MBL) transition, focusing on the delocalized (i.e., "metallic") phase, and establishes scaling relations between the associated exponents, assuming a scaling form of the spin-diffusion propagator. The many-body localized phase of the quantum random energy model
The random energy model (REM) provides a solvable mean-field description of the equilibrium spin glass transition. Its quantum sibling (the QREM), obtained by adding a transverse field to the REM,Expand
