OBJECTIVE To determine the efficacy and safety of fluconazole treatment of coccidioidal meningitis. DESIGN Uncontrolled clinical trial. SETTING Four university-based treatment centers in California, Arizona, and Texas. Most therapy was conducted without hospitalization.
