This study addresses the Polypodiaceae reported on canga formations in Serra dos Carajás, Pará state, presenting descriptions, illustrations and morphological comments. Eight taxa were recorded in the study area, belonging to six genera: Campyloneurum centrobrasilianum, C. phyllitidis, Microgramma lycopodioides, M. persicariifolia, Pecluma plumula, Pleopeltis polypodioides var. burchellii, Phlebodium decumanum and Serpocaulon triseriale.
