We used ultraviolet (UV)-induced fin damage in zebrafish as a system for evaluating the chemopreventive potential of flavonoids. Chemopreventive effects of each compound, including flavone, flavanone, and chalcone, on fin development were evaluated using Kaplan-Meier analysis and Cox proportional hazards regression.
