We have recently proposed a quark and lepton mass matrix model based on U(3)×U(3)′ family symmetry as the so-called Yukawaon model, in which the U(3) symmetry is broken by VEVs of flavons (Φf)iα which are (3,3∗) of U(3)×U(3)′. The model has successfully provided the unified description of quark and lepton masses and mixings by using the observed charged lepton masses as only family-number dependent input parameters. However, our final goal is not only to give well-satisfied fitting of quark and… Expand

Yukawaon model with U(3)×O(3) family symmetries
A quark and lepton mass matrix model with family symmetries U(3)×O(3) is investigated on the basis of the so-called Yukawaon model. In the present model, quarks and leptons are assigned to (l, ec,Expand
Yukawaon Model with Anomaly Free Set of Quarks and Leptons in a U(3) Family Symmetry
• Physics
• 2013
In the so-called "yukawaon" model, the (effective) Yukawa coupling constants $Y_f^{eff}$ are given by vacuum expectation values (VEVs) of scalars $Y_f$ (yukawaons) with $3\times 3$ components. SoExpand
Family gauge symmetry as an origin of Koide's mass formula and charged lepton spectrum
Koide's mass formula is an empirical relation among the charged lepton masses which holds with a striking precision. We present a model of charged lepton sector within an effective field theory withExpand

We propose a unified mass matrix model for quarks and leptons, in which sixteen observables of mass ratios and mixings of the quarks and neutrinos are described by using no family number-dependentExpand

We investigate the implications of a seesawtype mass matrix, i.e.,Mf⋍mLMF−1mR, for quarks and leptonsf under the assumption that the matricesmL andmR are common to all flavors (up-/down- andExpand
Origin of Hierarchical Structures of Quark and Lepton Mass Matrices
• Physics

It is shown that the so-called "Yukawaon" model can give a unified description of masses, mixing and $CP$ violation parameters of quarks and leptons without using any hierarchical (familyExpand

We present a revised version of the so-called “yukawaon model”, which was proposed for the purpose of a unified description of the lepton mixing matrix UPMNS and the quark mixing matrix VCKM. It isExpand

Based on a supersymmetric Yukawaon model with O(3) family symmetry, possible forms of quark and lepton mixing matrices are systematically investigated under a condition that the up-quark mass matrixExpand
