The aim of this paper is to extend the result of [M. Jleli, B. Samet, J. Inequal. Appl., 2014 (2014), 8 pages] by applying a simple condition on the function Θ. With this condition, we also prove some fixed point theorems for Suzuki-Berinde type Θ-contractions which generalize various results of literature. Finally, we give one example to illustrate the main results in this paper. c ©2017 All rights reserved.
Fixed point results for generalized (α−η)−Θ contractions with applications
The aim of this paper is to define generalized (α-η)-Θ contraction and to extend the results of Jleli and Samet [M. Jleli, B. Samet, J. Inequal. Appl., 2014 (2014), 8 pages] by applying a simpleExpand
NEW COMMON FIXED POINT THEOREMS FOR CYCLIC COMPATIBLE CONTRACTIONS
The aim of this paper is to introduce cyclic compatible Θ-contraction and establish some common fixed point theorems in the setting of a generating space of a b-quasi-metric family. We also apply aExpand
Fixed point theorems for (α, k, θ)−contractive multi-valued mapping in b−metric space and applications
In this paper, we introduce a new generalized (α, k, θ)−contractive multi-valued mapping in b−metric space, Our results generalize and extend several known results of metric. We provide an example toExpand
Best Proximity Point Results for Generalized Θ-Contractions and Application to Matrix Equations
TLDR
The notion of C ´ iri c ´ type α - ψ - Θ -contraction is introduced and some fixed point results for such contraction in complete metric and partially ordered complete metric spaces are obtained. Expand
Fixed Point Results for α − ψ − φ − Contractive Type Mappings in b-Metric-Like Spaces
In this paper, we introduce the concept of α−ψ−φcontractive type mappings in b-metriclike spaces and state some related fixed point theorems. Our results generalize related results in the literature.Expand
On Common Fixed Point Results for New Contractions with Applications to Graph and Integral Equations
The investigation of symmetric/asymmetric structures and their applications in mathematics (in particular in operator theory and functional analysis) is useful and fruitful. A metric space has theExpand
Solution of Volterra integral equation in metric spaces via new fixed point theorem
The aim of this article is to study the existence of coincidences and fixed points of generalized hybrid contractions involving single-valued mappings and left total relations in the context ofExpand
On multivalued L-contractions and an application
The aim of this paper is to present several fixed-point results for L-contractive multivalued mappings involving θ -functions in the class of metric spaces. We also give some examples in support ofExpand
KANNAN FIXED POINT THEOREM IN C-METRIC SPACE
The aim of this article is to define Kannan type contraction in the setting of controlled metric space and establish some contemporary fixed point theorems. These results extend several familiarExpand
Fixed Point Theorems for Generalized Set-Valued Weak θ-Contractions in Complete Metric Spaces
In this paper, the notion of generalized set-valued weak - contractions is introduced and a new fixed point theorem for such contractions is established in the setting metric spaces. The main resultExpand

COMMON FIXED POINT THEOREMS FOR JS- CONTRACTIONS
The aim of this article is to study JS-contractions and to establish some new common fixed point theorems for these contractions in the setup of complete metric spaces. Presented theorems areExpand
Fixed point theorems of JS-quasi-contractions
In this paper, we introduce the concept of JS-quasi-contraction and prove some fixed point results for JS-quasi-contractions in complete metric spaces under the assumption that the involving functionExpand
New fixed point theorems for generalized F-contractions in complete metric spaces
In this paper, owing to the concept of F-contraction, we define two new classes of functions M(S,T)$M(S,T)$ and N(S,T)$N(S,T)$, and we prove some new fixed point results for single-valued andExpand
Fixed point results for {α,ξ}-expansive locally contractive mappings
We recall the concepts of {α,ξ}-contractive and α-admissible mappings on complete metric spaces to state related fixed point theorems. In this paper, we obtain some fixed point results forExpand
General constructive fixed point theorems for Ćirić-type almost contractions in metric spaces
Existence and existence and uniqueness results for fixed points of single-valued Ćirić almost contractions as well as convergence theorems for Picard iteration to these fixed points are proved. TheExpand
Some fixed point theorems for generalized contractive mappings in complete metric spaces
We introduce new concepts of generalized contractive and generalized α-Suzuki type contractive mappings. Then, we obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of a fixed point of these classes ofExpand
A generalization of Banach’s contraction principle
Let T: M -. M be a mapping of a metric space (M, d) into itself. A mapping T will be called a quasi-contraction iff d(Tx, Ty) ' q maxld(x, y); d(x, Tx); d(y, Ty); d(x, Ty); d(y, Tx)} for some q < 1Expand
A new type of fixed point theorem in metric spaces
Abstract We prove a generalization of Edelstein’s fixed point theorem. Though there are thousands of fixed point theorems in metric spaces, our theorem is a new type of theorem.
