▴ Verapamil sustained-release (SR)/trandolapril is a combination of a phenylalkylamine calcium antagonist and an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor for the management of essential hypertension. ▴ Verapamil SR/trandolapril does not adversely influence glucose, insulin or lipid parameters in patients with mild to moderate essential hypertension and type 2 (non-insulin-dependent) diabetes mellitus with or without elevated cholesterol and/or triglyceride levels. ▴ Verapamil SR/trandolapril… CONTINUE READING
