Five new steroids, including the four new steroidal saponins ypsilandroside B (1), ypsilandroside A (2), isoypsilandroside A (4), and isoypsilandroside B (5), as well as the new steroidal sapogenin isoypsilandrogenin (3), were isolated from the whole plant of Ypsilandra thibetica Franch. Their structures were determined on the basis of spectroscopic analyses, including extensive 2D‐NMR techniques. The structure and relative configuration of ypsilandroside B (=(3β,12α,25R)‐3‐[(α‐L…
Ypsilandrosides U-Y, five new steroidal saponins from Ypsilandrathibetica
Phytochemical reinvestigation on the whole plants of Ypsilandra thibetica obtained four new spirostanol glycosides, named ypsilandrosides U-X ( 1 – 4 ), and one new cholestanol glycoside, named
Two New Steroidal Saponins from Ypsilandra thibetica
Two new monosaccharide steroidal saponins, named ypsilandroside S (1) and ypsilandroside T (2), have been isolated from the whole plants of Ypsilandra thibetica. Their structures were elucidated as
Ypsiyunnosides A–E, Five New Cholestanol Glycosides from Ypsilandrayunnanensis
TLDR
Five new cholestanol glycosides, ypsiyunnosides A–E (1–5), were isolated from the whole plants of Ypsilandrayunnanensis and one known analogue possessed a rare 6/6/6-6/5/5 fused-rings cholESTanol sketelon.
Steroidal and pregnane glycosides from Ypsilandra thibetica
The whole plants of Ypsilandra thibetica have been analyzed as part of a systematic study on saponin constituents of medicinal plants. This has resulted in the isolation of two new bisdesmosidic
Ypsilactosides A and B, Two New C-22-Steroidal Lactone Glycosides from Ypsilandra thibetica
Two new C(22)-steroidal lactone glycosides, ypsilactosides A (1) and B (2), were isolated from the EtOH extract of the whole plant of Ypsilandra thibetica. Their structures were established as (3
The Chemical Constituents of Endophytic Fungus Trichoderma sp. MFF‐1
TLDR
Two new compounds, including a mitorubrin derivative and its potential biogenetic precursor, together with a known compound, were isolated from the cultures of the endophytic fungus.
Recent advances in steroidal saponins biosynthesis and in vitro production
TLDR
The aim of this review is to encapsulate the information related to applications of steroidal saponin and its biosynthetic enzymes specially P450s and UGTs that are involved at later stage modifications of sap onin backbone.
Natural products – antifungal agents derived from plants
TLDR
A series of molecules with antifungal activity against different strains of fungus have been found in plants, which are of great importance to humans.

Studies on the Constituents of Heloniopsis orientalis (THUNB.) C. TANAKA
The constituents of the fresh whole plants of Heloniopsis orientalis (THUNB.) C. TANAKA (Liliaceae) were investigated and five steroidal components were obtained. Their chemical structures were
Antibiotic susceptibility testing by a standardized single disk method.
TLDR
Recommendations of the National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards continue to be based on this publication; the “Kirby-Bauer” method is, among the many disk methods used in other countries, still the one that has been researched most thoroughly and updated continuously.
