Three known species of the genus Aulolaimus, namely A. oxycephalus Meyl, 1954, A. mowhitius (Yeates, 1967) Jairajpuri et Hooper, 1968 and A. nannocephalus Andrassy, 1972, collected from soil samples taken from Arasbaran forests, East-Azarbaijan province and Urmia, West-Azarbaijan province, Iran, are reported herein. The Iranian populations of the three species reported agree with the original and re-descriptions although some morphometric differences were observed. This is the first record of…

Morphological comparative study of four new species of the genus Aulolaimus de Man, 1880 (Nematoda, Aulolaimidae) from the Iberian Peninsula
TLDR
Four new species of the genus Aulolaimus are described from natural and semi-natural habitats of southern Iberian Peninsula, with several morphological features especially useful to characterize the new species and to distinguish them from their relatives.
Morphology, taxonomy and phylogeny of the enigmatic genus Aulolaimus de Man, 1880 (Nematoda, Aulolaimidae)
TLDR
The close relationship of Aulolaimus with Isolaimium is demonstrated with morphological and molecular analyses, constituting a separate group from other nematode orders and closely related to the araeolaimid genus Cylindrolaimus.

Small subunit ribosomal DNA-based phylogeny of basal Chromadoria (Nematoda) suggests that transitions from marine to terrestrial habitats (and vice versa) require relatively simple adaptations.
TLDR
Molecular analysis of Ecdysozoa on the basis of both small and large subunit ribosomal DNA sequence information seems to support Filipjev’s hypothesis about the marine ancestry of nematodes.
