The family Ctenobelbidae (Acari, Oribatida) is recorded for the first time from Turkey. A new species of genus Ctenobelba, Ctenobelba (Ctenobelba) ayyildizi sp. nov., is described based on the specimens collected from chestnut forest in the province of Manisa, Turkey.
