The larval stages of Paraleptophlebia assimilis and P. jeanae are described for the first time from specimens associated by rearing male adults. Both species are distinctive as larvae, and mouthpart structure is useful for differentiating them from similar species. Materials examined of P. assimilis in Maryland and P. jeanae in Indiana extend the known range of both species.
