We have carried out a high-sensitivity search for circumstellar disks around Herbig Be stars in the continuum at 1.4 and 2.7 mm using the IRAM interferometer at the Plateau de Bure. In this Letter, we report data on three well-studied B0 stars: MWC 1080, MWC 137, and R Mon. The two latter have also been observed in the continuum at 0.7 and 1.3 cm using the NRAO Very Large Array. We report the detection of circumstellar disks around MWC 1080 and R Mon with masses of Md ~ 0.003 and 0.01 M…

• Physics, Geology
• 2007
We present the results of the interferometric observations of the circumstellar disk surrounding MWC 297 in the continuum at 230 GHz (1.3 mm) and in the (J = 2-1) rotational transitions of 12CO,13CO,

• Physics, Geology
• 2006
We present high-resolution 045 × 032 observations from the BIMA array toward the Herbig Ae system MWC 480 in the λ = 1.4 mm dust continuum. We resolve a circumstellar disk of radius ~170 AU and
Evidence for an inner molecular disk around massive Young Stellar Objects
• Physics, Geology
• 2004
We present observations of CO overtone bandhead emission toward four massive Young Stellar Objects (spectral type O6–B5). The high signal-to-noise ratio K -band spectra were obtained with VLT-ISAAC
Massive young disks around Herbig Ae stars

Context. Herbig Ae stars (HAe) are the precursors of Vega-type systems, hence crucial objects in planet formation studies. Thus far, only a few disks associated with HAe stars have been studied using
Herschel observations of the circumstellar environments of the Herbig Be stars R Mon and PDS 27
• Physics
• 2017
Context. The circumstellar environments of Herbig Be stars in the far-infrared are poorly characterised, mainly because they are often embedded and rather distant. The analysis of far-infrared
A mid-IR study of the circumstellar environment of Herbig Be stars
• Physics

Context. The study of the formation of massive stars is complicated because of the short times scales, large distances, and obscuring natal clouds. There are observational and theoretical indications
The Immediate Environments of Two Herbig Be Stars: MWC 1080 and HD 259431
• Physics
• 2014
Deep mid-infrared (10-20 $\mu$m) images with sub-arcsec resolution were obtained for two Herbig Be stars, MWC 1080 and HD 259431, to probe their immediate environments. Our goal is to understand the
A SUBMILLIMETER MAPPING SURVEY OF HERBIG AeBe STARS
• Physics, Geology
• 2011
We have acquired submillimeter observations of 33 fields containing 37 Herbig Ae/Be (HAEBE) stars or potential HAEBE stars, including SCUBA maps of all but two of these stars. Nine target stars show
