A bstractWe present a study at next-to-leading-order (NLO) of the process pp → W±Z → ℓνlℓ′+ℓ′−, where ℓ, ℓ′ = e, μ, at the Large Hadron Collider. We include the full NLO QCD corrections and the NLO electroweak (EW) corrections in the double-pole approximation. We define eight fiducial polarization coefficients directly constructed from the polar-azimuthal angular distribution of the decay leptons. These coefficients depend strongly on the kinematical cuts on the transverse momentum or rapidity…

NLO QCD corrections to polarised di-boson production in semi-leptonic final states

: Understanding the polarisation structure and providing precise predictions for multi-boson processes at the LHC is becoming urgent in the light of the upcoming run-3 and high-luminosity data. The

NLO EW and QCD corrections to polarized ZZ production in the four-charged-lepton channel at the LHC

Measuring the polarization of electroweak bosons at the LHC allows for important tests of the electroweak-symmetry-breaking mechanism that is realized in nature. Therefore, precise Standard Model

Polarization Observables in WZ Production at the 13 TeV LHC: Inclusive Case

We present a study of the polarization observables of the $W$ and $Z$ bosons in the process \(p p \to W^\pm Z\to e^\pm \nu_e \mu^+\mu^-\) at the 13 TeV Large Hadron Collider. The calculation is

Polarisation at NLO in WZ production at the LHC

The pair production of a $W$ and a $Z$ boson at the LHC is an important process to study the triple-gauge boson couplings as well as to probe new physics that could arise in the gauge sector. In

Electroweak corrections to the angular coefficients in finite-$$p_T$$ Z-boson production and dilepton decay

We present next-to-leading order (NLO) electroweak corrections to the dominant five angular coefficients parametrizing the Drell–Yan process in the Z-boson mass peak range for finite-$$p_T$$ p T

Polarized vector boson scattering in the fully leptonic WZ and ZZ channels at the LHC

Isolating the scattering of longitudinal weak bosons at the LHC is an important tool to probe the ElectroWeak Symmetry Breaking mechanism. Separating polarizations of W and Z bosons is complicated,

Polarised W+j production at the LHC: a study at NNLO QCD accuracy

We study polarisation of W-bosons produced in association with one jet at the LHC. In particular, we provide all necessary theoretical ingredients for the precise extraction of polarisation

The emergence of multi-lepton anomalies at the LHC and their compatibility with new physics at the EW scale

A recent study [1] has shown that a simplified model predicting a heavy scalar of mass 270 GeV (H ) that decays to a Standard Model (SM) Higgs boson in association with a scalar singlet of mass 150

QCD corrections in Standard Model EFT fits to WZ and WW production

We study the impact of anomalous gauge boson and fermion couplings on the production of $WZ$ and $W^+W^-$ pairs at the LHC to NLO QCD in the Standard Model effective field theory, including

New parton distribution functions from a global analysis of quantum chromodynamics

Here, we present new parton distribution functions (PDFs) up to next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) from the CTEQ-TEA global analysis of quantum chromodynamics. These differ from previous CT PDFs in
