Fibromodulin (FMOD) was shown to be highly overexpressed in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) cells compared with normal B lymphocytes by gene expression profiling. Therefore FMOD might serve as potential tumor-associated antigen (TAA) in CLL, enabling expansion of FMOD-specific T cells.
