  • The properties of a fiber optic Sagnac loop with a polarization maintaining photonic crystal fiber are presented, which is utilized as an optical wavelength demodulator. Owing to the use of a photonic crystal fiber, which has high birefringence and a very low temperature coefficient of birefringence, a temperature-stable optical wavelength demodulator circuit was obtained.
