Fermion localization in a braneworld model in presence of dilaton coupled higher curvature Gauss-Bonnet bulk gravity is discussed. It is shown that the lowest mode of left handed fermions can be naturally localized on the visible brane due to the dilaton coupled higher curvature term without the necessity of any external localizing bulk field.

Modulus stabilization in higher curvature dilaton gravity
A bstractWe propose a framework of modulus stabilization in two brane warped geometry scenario in presence of higher curvature gravity and dilaton in bulk space-time. In the prescribed setup we study
Gauss-Bonnet interaction in Randall-Sundrum compactification
We show that the Gauss-Bonnet term is the only consistent curvature squared interaction in the Randall-Sundrum model and various static and inflationary solutions can be found. And from metric
Effective Gauss-Bonnet interaction in Randall-Sundrum compactification
The effective gravitational interaction below the Planck scale in the Randall-Sundrum world is shown to be the Gauss-Bonnet term. In this theory we find that there exists another static solution with
An Alternative to compactification
Conventional wisdom states that Newton's force law implies only four noncompact dimensions. We demonstrate that this is not necessarily true in the presence of a nonfactorizable background geometry.
Scalar kinks and fermion localization in warped spacetimes
Scalar kinks propagating along the bulk in warped spacetimes provide a thick brane realization of the braneworld. We consider here, a class of such exact solutions of the full Einstein-scalar system
Scalar Kaluza-Klein modes in a multiply warped braneworld
The Kaluza-Klein (KK) modes of a massive scalar field on a 3-brane embedded in a six-dimensional multiply warped spacetime are determined. Due to the presence of warping along both the extra
Warped phenomenology of higher-derivative gravity
We examine the phenomenological implications at colliders for the existence of higher-derivative gravity terms as extensions to the Randall-Sundrum model. Such terms are expected to arise on rather
