We propose a two-Higgs-doublet model where the symmetry is extended by ${S}_{3}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}{Z}_{3}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}{Z}_{3}^{\ensuremath{'}}\ensuremath{\bigotimes}{Z}_{14}$ and the field content is enlarged by extra $SU(2{)}_{L}$ singlet scalar fields. ${S}_{3}$ makes the model predictive and leads to viable fermion masses and mixing. The observed hierarchy of the quark masses arises from the ${Z}_{3}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ and ${Z}_{14}$ symmetries. The light neutrino masses are…

We build a highly predictive 3-3-1 model, where the field content is extended by including several $SU(3)_{L}$ scalar singlets and six right handed Majorana neutrinos. In our model the

### Non-minimal flavored $${S}_{3}\otimes {Z}_{2}$$S3⊗Z2 left–right symmetric model

We propose a non-minimal left–right symmetric model with parity symmetry where the fermion mixings arise as a result of imposing an $$\mathbf{S}_{3}\otimes \mathbf{Z}_{2}$$S3⊗Z2 flavor symmetry, and

We construct a multiscalar and non-renormalizable model where the $\mathbf{S}_{3}$ flavor symmetry drives mainly the Yukawa couplings. In the quark sector, the Nearest Neighbor Interaction (NNI)
