BACKGROUND Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) has been recognized as a novel treatment for ulcerative colitis (UC). However, its efficacy and safety remain unclear. OBJECTIVE We conducted this systematic review to assess the efficacy and safety of FMT in UC.
