The elliptically polarized Faraday effect appears, when microwaves are transmitted through lossy plasmas with magnetic fields. The detector signal of an electric field component of a wave through plasmas oscillates with the monotonous decrease of the plasma electron density, when the cyclotron frequency is higher than the applied frequency.
