We investigate a double cavity optomechanical system generating single and double Fano resonance (multi-Fano). By altering a single parameter, the tunnelling rate g of the middle mirror, we are able to switch between single and double Fano line shapes. The first spectral line shape is stronger in the case of multi-Fano than in the case of single Fano. Also the behaviour of the steady state value of the displacement of the middle mirror, with respect to g, heavily influences the behaviour of…

Nonreciprocity in a strongly coupled three-mode optomechanical circulatory system.

This work derives a quantum Langevin equation (QLE) for the strongly coupled OMCS by suitably choosing the laser field, and gives a condition for the frequency of the laser and the mechanical decay rate, beyond which the optomechanical system has a unidirectional transmission regardless of how strong the optomerchanical coupling is.

Abstract : The primary goal of this project is to examine the surface characteristics of mercury cadmium telluride (HgCdTe) infrared detectors, to determine the source of performance-limiting dark

Effects of Configuration Interaction on Intensities and Phase Shifts

The interference of a discrete autoionized state with a continuum gives rise to characteristically asymmetric peaks in excitation spectra. The earlier qualitative interpretation of this phenomenon is

Fano resonance in optomechanical systems with two movable mirrors

We investigate the Fano profile in an optomechanical system with two vibrating mirrors. The detuning between their mechanical frequency, leads to the occurrence of double Fano resonances. The Fano
