OBJECTIVE The objective of the study was to study factors influencing the use and accuracy of frozen section diagnosis (FSD) of ovarian tumors. STUDY DESIGN Surgery was performed in 414 patients with epithelial ovarian tumors between 2001 and 2006. Factors were identified by univariate and multivariate analysis.
