Prevalence, intensity of infestation, and risk factors for Otodectes cynotis in young dogs
TLDR
Otocariosis is a frequent cause of otitis externa in dogs from Thessaloniki, Greece and occurs with a higher frequency in puppies aged less than 3 months, reason why a special attention should be given to the preventive measures.
Factors related to the frequency of cat ear mites (Otodectes cynotis).
TLDR
The factors related to the frequency of infestations in cats in Alanya, Antalya are investigated to reveal the association of risk factors with using chi-square tests and Statistically significant differences were between lifestyle and infestation.
Prevalence and Clinical Aspects of Otodectes cynotis Infestation in Dogs and Cats in the Semi-arid Region of Paraíba, Brazil
TLDR
A high prevalence of O. cynotis infestation was observed in dogs and even higher prevalence in cats, both are higher than it was expected and can be explained by the confinement and the usual direct contact by different cats, increasing the occurrence of the parasite.
Aspects of Stomoxys calcitrans parasitism in dogs from the Amazonic region of Mato Grosso state, Brazil
TLDR
Most dogs presented otitis in light level with clinical, microbiological and cytological aspects, which characterize external otitis, in relation to otological sanity.
Ectoparasites in urban stray cats in Jerusalem, Israel: differences in infestation patterns of fleas, ticks and permanent ectoparasites
TLDR
The high rates of ectoparasite infestation in the cats studied constitute a risk for the spread of vector‐borne infections of zoonotic and veterinary importance.

TLDR
The high rates of ectoparasite infestation in the cats studied constitute a risk for the spread of vector-borne infections of zoonotic and veterinary importance.
Epidemiology, genetic divergence and acaricides of Otodectes cynotis in cats and dogs -
TLDR
It is concluded that Selamectin pour on is the best acaricide against Otodectes cynotis in both cats and dogs and it is also needed to prepare a vaccine in the future to prevent the infestation with OtodECTes cy notis and its complications.
Efficacy and safety of sarolaner in the treatment of canine ear mite infestation caused by Otodectes cynotis: a non‐inferiority study
TLDR
A single oral administration of sarolaner was safe and highly effective in the treatment of O. cynotis infestation in dogs and compared with topical moxidectin/imidacloprid in a single-masked, multi-centre field study.
Prevalence, control and risk factors associated with rabbit mange in Kiambu and Nyeri counties, Kenya
