Many factors affect the survival rate of osseointegrated implants placed in grafted maxillary sinuses. This clinical report describes the retrospective evaluation of 60 patients with 228 implants placed in 84 grafted maxillary sinuses at the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. The factors used to determine the survival rates of these implants were implant type, simultaneous/delayed implant placement, pretreatment bone height, oral hygiene, and cigarette smoking habits.
