The purpose of this study was to determine the perceived level of improvement in facial attractiveness as assessed by people with different backgrounds in skeletal Class II patients treated by mandibular advancement with bilateral sagittal split osteotomy (BSSO). The frontal and lateral pre- and post-operative photographs of 10 Caucasian patients were selected.
