Cd1−xZnxS films suitable for solar cell photovoltaic applications have been deposited by chemical bath deposition (CBD) on to indium tin oxide (ITO) coated glass substrates. An aqueous solution containing cadmium sulfide, zinc sulfide and thiourea were used as sources of Cd+2, Zn+2, and S−2, respectively. Triethenolamine was used as complexing agent to control the Cd+2 and Zn+2 ions concentrations and ammonia to adjust the pH of the solution. The temperature of the bath was kept at 70 °C. The…

Efficiency Enhancement of CH3NH3SnI3 Solar Cells by Device Modeling
Lead halide perovskite solar cells (LHPSC) have great potential, with conversion efficiency exceeding 20%. However, their toxic nature and difficult fabrication prevent their consideration for
Numerical analysis for efficiency enhancement of thin film solar cells.
A decade of extensive research has been conducted to enhance the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of silicon (Si) solar cells and to cut their prices short. But still, the fabrication of Si solar
Mitigation of interface recombination by careful selection of ETL for efficiency enhancement of MASnI3 solar cell
Abstract Lead halide perovskite solar cells (LHPSC) are of great potential for commercial application with conversion efficiency exceeding 20%. But the toxic nature of lead, fabrication of perovskite

Preparation of thin films of polycrystalline CdSe for solar energy conversion: II. Experimental
Abstract Films of polycrystalline n-CdSe were prepared onto Ti substrates by cathodic deposition in a bath containing CdSO4, H2SeO3, and H2SO4, with the aim of obtaining efficient photoelectrodes in
Effect of annealing on the surface and band gap alignment of CdZnS thin films
Abstract Effects of the annealing temperature on structural, optical and surface properties of chemically deposited cadmium zinc sulfide (CdZnS) films were investigated. X-ray diffraction (XRD)
Structural, Compositional, Optical, and Electrical Properties of Solution‐Grown Zn x Cd1 − x S Films
Thin films of zinc cadmium sulfide (Zn x Cd 1- x S) have been prepared in the entire range from ZnS to CdS by using a chemical solution growth technique. Structural, compositional, optical, and
Thin films of cadmium sulfide (CdS) have been prepared on glass substrates by chemical bath deposition (CBD) technique using various cadmium (Cd) sources. Cadmium iodide, cadmium chloride, cadmium
Studies of ZnxCd1-xS films and ZnxCd1-xS/CuGaSe2 heterojunction solar cells
Thin film ZnxCd1-xS/CuGaSe2 heterojunction solar cells were prepared by laser evaporating CuGaSe2 onto sprayed ZnxCd1-xS films. The physical properties of ZnxCd1-xS films are discussed to study the
Synthesis and characterization of ternary chalcogenide ZnCdS 1D nanostructures
Abstract 1D nanostructures of ternary chalcogenide, ZnCdS–Cd nanocables and ZnCdS nanotubes, have been synthesized through a thermochemical process. The as-prepared nanocables consist of a
Cu(In,Ga)Se 2 Thin-Film Solar Cells
Cu(In,Ga)Se 2 is in a leading position among polycrystalline thin-film solar cell materials because of the benign, forgiving nature of the bulk materials and interfaces. Research into this compound
