In this work we report fabrication and microstructural characterization of single crystalline Sm2Co17 nanoparticles with an average size of 103.7 nm. These particles are fabricated using mechanochemical method and can be used for fabrication of high performance permanent magnets due to their high coercivity (20 kOe).
