  • Here, we are presenting the FPGA based simulation of π/4- QPSK modulator and demodulator. π/4- QPSK is widely used modulation scheme in satellite radio applications. Complete modulator and demodulator units will be modeled using VHDL and their functionality are verified using modelsim simulation tools. The code was synthesized on the Spartan-3E FPGA .Simulation waveforms and a brief synthesis report is also presented in this paper.
