The diabetes population in India is increasing an alarming rate. At present India is recognized as ‘capital of diabetes’ due to high prevalence of diabetes in younger generation. Dietary management with high fibre and complex carbohydrate millets found beneficial in monitoring diabetes and to prevent further complications.
