    This study determined the prevalence of underweight and hypoalbuminia in VA nursing home residents and the frequency with which physicians, nurses and dietitians document their awareness of these problems, and found a high prevalence of calorie and protein undernutrition among 2,811 residents, with wide variation across 26 nursing homes, and a frequent lack of documentation of these problems by physicians and nurses Abraham NE, Stroh K.
