  • The flow-induced vibration of the head gimbals assembly (HGA) in hard disk drives (HDDs) limits the positioning accuracy of the HDD magnetic head on the tip of HGA for future magnetic recording density. In this work, a digital feedback control close-loop is presented for active suppression of the HGA flow-induced vibrations in working HDDs.
