Ziziphora tenuior is an edible medicinal plant whic h belongs to Labiatae family. It is often used as a tre tment for some diseases such as edema, insomnia, and hyperten sion i Turkey, Iran and China. In this study, the essential oil of Ziziphora tenuior was extracted by using a techn ique called ‘supercritical fluid extraction’.
