We studied 112 eyes of 80 glaucomatous patients who had filtering operations and also developed cataracts. Extracapsular cataract extraction (ECCE) was performed in all eyes. One hundred four (104) eyes had posterior chamber intraocular lenses (IOLs) implanted and eight had ECCE without IOLs; the latter were excluded from this clinical investigation.
