Extending Tagging Ontologies with Domain Specific Knowledge
@inproceedings{Font2014ExtendingTO, title={Extending Tagging Ontologies with Domain Specific Knowledge}, author={Frederic Font and Sergio Oramas and Gy{\"o}rgy Fazekas and Xavier Serra}, booktitle={SEMWEB}, year={2014} }
Currently proposed tagging ontologies are mostly focused on the definition of a common schema for representing the agents involved in a tagging process. In this paper we describe preliminary research around the idea of extending tagging ontologies by incorporating some domain specific class definitions and relations. We illustrate our idea with a particular use case where a tag recommendation system is driven by such an ontology. Besides our use case, we believe that such extended tagging…

This work describes a hybrid recommendation approach for recommending sounds to users by exploiting and semantically enriching textual information such as tags and sounds descriptions using a semantic version of the feature combination hybrid approach.
Sound and Music Recommendation with Knowledge Graphs
- Computer ScienceACM Trans. Intell. Syst. Technol.
- 2017
This work describes how to create and exploit a knowledge graph to supply a hybrid recommendation engine with information that builds on top of a collections of documents describing musical and sound items and shows how the semantic expansion of the initial descriptions helps in achieving much better recommendation quality in terms of aggregated diversity and novelty.

Tag Recommendation using Folksonomy Information for Online Sound Sharing Platforms
- Computer Science
- 2015
A new perspective for tag recommendation is explored which, besides taking advantage of information from the folksonomy, employs a sound-specific ontology to guide users during the annotation process, and can be easily generalised and thus be of use to other information sharing platforms.
Analysis of key terms of knowledge domains to support research

To review the literature on such methods, algorithms for obtaining and analyzing key terms are developed, and a special feature is the consideration of the dynamics of trends in knowledge domains.
Sound-Word2Vec: Learning Word Representations Grounded in Sounds
- Computer ScienceEMNLP
- 2017
This work treats sound as a first-class citizen, studying downstream 6textual tasks which require aural grounding and proposes sound-word2vec – a new embedding scheme that learns specialized word embeddings grounded in sounds.

The Effects of Noisy Labels on Deep Convolutional Neural Networks for Music Tagging
- Computer ScienceIEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence
- 2018
It is shown that networks can be effective despite relatively large error rates in groundtruth datasets, while conjecturing that label noise can be the cause of varying tag-wise performance differences.

Deep neural networks for music tagging
- Computer Science
