We establish the extended formalism for description of the static spherically symmetric relativistic non-equilibrium stellar systems in the formation of which the radiation pressure plays the key role. The main concept of this extended formalism inherits the ideas, on which the Israel-Stewart causal thermodynamics is based, but now the unit spacelike four-vector, indicated by the term director, is exploited in addition to the unit timelike medium velocity four-vector. An application of the… Expand

Relativistic Neutron Stars: Rheological Type Extensions of the Equations of State
TLDR
It is found that the rheological type self-interaction makes the neutron star more compact, since the radius of the star, related to the first null of the pressure profile, decreases when the modulus of the r heological type guiding parameter grows. Expand
Density perturbations with relativistic thermodynamics
We investigate cosmological density perturbations in a covariant and gauge-invariant formalism, incorporating relativistic causal thermodynamics to give a self-consistent description. The gradient ofExpand
Cosmological particle production, causal thermodynamics, and inflationary expansion
Combining the equivalence between cosmological particle creation and an effective viscous fluid pressure with the fact that the latter represents a dynamical degree of freedom within the second-orderExpand
The Thermodynamics of Irreversible Processes. III. Relativistic Theory of the Simple Fluid
The considerations of the first paper of this series are modified so as to be consistent with the special theory of relativity. It is shown that the inertia of energy does not obviate the necessityExpand

TLDR
A scenario in which the dark components of the Universe are manifestations of a single bulk viscous fluid, which is competitive in comparison with the currently most popular proposals for the description of the cosmological dark sector. Expand
Transient relativistic thermodynamics and kinetic theory
Abstract The paper develops, from both the phenomenological and kinetic points of view, a generalized formulation of irreversible thermodynamics applicable to the description of thermal phenomena inExpand
The new form of the equation of state for dark energy fluid and accelerating universe
We suggest to generalize the dark energy equation of state (EoS) by introduction the relaxation equation for pressure which is equivalent to consideration of the inhomogeneous EoS cosmic fluid whichExpand
The Kepler-11 system: evolution of the stellar high-energy emission and initial planetary atmospheric mass fractions
The atmospheres of close-in planets are strongly influenced by mass loss driven by the high-energy (X-ray and extreme ultraviolet, EUV) irradiation of the host star, particularly during the earlyExpand
Reheating and causal thermodynamics
The reheating process in inflationary universe models is considered as an out-of-equilibrium mixture of two interacting and reacting fluids, and studied within the framework of causal, irreversibleExpand
Hyperbolic theories of dissipation: Why and when do we need them?
We illustrate and emphasize the relevance of hyperbolic theories of dissipation in different physical scenarios. Particular attention is paid to self-gravitating systems, where the relaxation timeExpand
