Based on Holme and Kim (HK) model, We propose an extended HK evolving network model including a triad formation step. Triad formation mechanism is extend among old nodes compared to the HK model, which settle the shortages of HK: there is no link evolution in old nodes and the numbers of links of a new node coming to network is fixed. Theoretical analyses and numerical simulations show that our model captures power-law distributions of node degree, as confirmed in several real-world systems… CONTINUE READING
