Proteinases produced by vascular endothelial cells are expected to play important roles in many biological processes. Here we report that human vascular endothelial cells express trypsinogen-2 mRNA and its protein product in culture. The trypsinogen production was stimulated by a tumor promoter and associated with cell growth.
