BACKGROUND/AIMS Amphoterin is considered as a regulator for the ability of invasion and migration in tumor cells and embryonic neurons through binding to receptor for advanced glycation end products (RAGE), a multiligand cell surface molecule of the immunoglobulin superfamily.
