The proteinase-activated receptor-2 (PAR-2) is a G protein-coupled receptor that is cleaved and activated by trypsin. To clarify the presence of PAR-2 in human pancreatic cancer, the expression of PAR-2 was analyzed by RT-PCR, immunoblotting and immunocytochemistry using 5 human pancreatic cancer cell lines.
