Acetylcholine (ACh) and its receptors play a crucial role in bladder physiology. Here, we investigated the presence of muscarinic receptor subtypes (MR) and nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) alpha-subunits in the mouse urothelium by RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry.
