Exploring the driving factors of sectoral-level CO2 intensity change is very important in informing targeted emission reduction policies. This paper proposes an integrated decomposition approach which combines productiontheoretical decomposition analysis (PDA), index decomposition method (IDA), and attribution analysis (AA).
