In this paper we examine the factors that contribute to the general appeal of World of Warcraft through the use of the AttrakDiff questionnaire. AttrakDiff is a questionnaire that measures the users' perceptions in four categories: Pragmatic Quality, Hedonic Identification, Hedonic Stimulation and General Appeal. 40 players and non-players of World of Warcraft were requested to have a brief play session on the game, and then answer the AttrakDiff questionnaire.
