Public adoption of new technologies is an important determinant for their success. In this paper we examined a specific case of new technology in the nutrition domain – nutrigenomics – the interaction between nutrition and human genes. From 29 semi-structured interviews with Dutch experts in the field, we built an overview of the critical factors for the development of nutrigenomics.
